Reflecting on My Mindset for the Year
I entered 2024 with the weight of loss, having said goodbye to a loved one in 2023. It was a painful reminder of how fleeting life can be, and it left me cherishing every moment I get to spend with my family.
This realization led me to step away from long-term onsite engagements. I wanted to be fully present with those I hold dear and create memories that truly matter.
2024 became a year dedicated to healing, creating long-lasting memories, and rediscovering myself.
Growth
I quickly adapted to the virtual landscape and became an integral part of the tech team at AB-InBev. Collaborating with brilliant minds,
I also acquired new skills, including leveraging AWS for cloud computing and using it to build robust infrastructure that supports business growth and success.

Community Builder
Worked alongside an amazing team at Wetech to launch the Ambassador Program, introducing students and professionals to lead initiatives and represent Wetech’s mission across their respective sectors.
Introduced impactful initiatives like Safe Space at Wetech, providing community members with a judgment-free platform to openly share their experiences in tech—the good, the bad, and the unfiltered.
Led a team of women in tech to a Generative AI Workshop at Microsoft's headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria.
💡Organized the largest women-in-tech event in Lagos, Wetech 2024,where we redefined technology and entrepreneurshipThe day was packed with exciting activities, including a career fair, inspiring sessions, and moments of joy and connection. Rejection emails... For every 'YES' I received, there were at least 10 rejection emails quietly waiting in my inbox.

The Road to Becoming a Product Engineer: As I continue to reinvent myself,
I’ve discovered a new field I’m eager to explore—becoming a Product Engineer!
This marks a significant step beyond my current role as a software engineer, allowing me explore the production of hardwares and engage deeply with the entire product development lifecycle.
